September Run Down! Thank You To Lennie and Matthew and all of you for your support!

Hi Everyone!

Where do I start? I've been rendered speechless for a week since the last open mic. I am just coming down from the musical euphoria that resulted from having another amazingly wonderful evening! Every performer sang their heart out and I am super fortunate and grateful for the continued support by so many!

Once again, time for my thank you's! First and foremost, I want to thank my August featured musical director Matthew Martin Ward, who did a kick-ass job accompanying all the diverse performers and music selections throughout the evening!

Matthew Martin Ward is a wonderful musical director and teacher. He has an ear for music and style and can play everything! If you are looking for someone to work with, definitely reach out to him! In addition, be on the look out for him at the Winter Rhythms Festival as he presents his musical "After the Fair'!!

Next, I want to thank my September Featured Spotlight performer, my director, teacher, mentor, friend, family and soooo much more.... Lennie Watts! Lennie never fails to impress and blow me away whenever and wherever I see him perform! Every time I see him on stage, I whisper a little prayer of thanks because this man transformed and helped bring music back into my life! If you've never tried, I highly recommend the Arrangement Experience, one of Lennie's creations, which is now part of his non-profit, Singnasium! It is super fun and challenging!

Also, don't forget to be on the look out for Lennie's upcoming duo show with the amazing Brad Simmons, "Blue Eyed Soul" Also BIG THANKS TO JASON ELLIS, the best tech on lights and sound!
